- The new article by Warren Thompson will
appear in the special P-38 issue of Flight
Journal magazine and is entitled "Turkey Shoot
Over Vienna". It covers the mission in which the 82nd FG shot
down 21 German aircraft in one mission. UPDATE--The
article will actually appear in the June issue, not the upcoming
issue as reported here before. Sorry for any problems this may have
caused.

Past magazine contains an article about the 82nd Fighter
Group written by Warren Thompson. The magazine is currently available
at Border's and Barnes & Noble in their magazine racks.
