1st Fighter Assn.- A nice website dedicated to America's oldest fighter outfit.

Army-Air Forces.com- extremely detailed site dedicated to the Army-Air Force during WWII. Excellent place to start any research.

Zeno's Warbirds- Interesting site that has many videos that you can view online, or purchase for viewing at home.

P-38 Assn. and Museum- Site dedicated to keeping the memory of the 'fork-tailed devil' alive.

 

 

- An article by Warren Thompson appears in the June '03 issue of Flight Journal magazine and is entitled "Turkey Shoot Over Vienna". It covers the mission in which the 82nd FG shot down 21 German aircraft in one mission.
